Mr Simon Dixon

An Australian citizen, Simon was appointed as a Director of PT Astra International Tbk in May 2010 and is responsible for Corporate Finance & Accounting, Corporate Planning, Corporate Treasury & Investor Relations, Risk Management, Corporate Information Systems & Technology, and the Astra Group’s property development initiatives.

Prior to joining Astra, Simon worked for Jardine Matheson in Hong Kong where he held the position of Group Treasurer. Simon joined Jardine Matheson in 2006 from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a Partner. Before coming to Hong Kong in 2000, Simon worked in the United Kingdom with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Australia with Arthur Andersen.

Simon is Deputy President Commissioner of PT Astra Sedaya Finance and a Commissioner of PT United Tractors Tbk, PT Astra Otoparts Tbk, PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk, PT Federal International Finance, and is a member of PT Astra International Tbk’s Executive Committee.

Simon graduated with a Bachelor of Economics in 1993 and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
